What we collect
GPS location data, vehicle telemetry (speed, ignition, fuel), genset telemetry, and account-user contact details (name, phone, email). We collect only what the service needs.

Who owns the data
You do. Your fleet’s data belongs to your company. GT AFRIK processes it to deliver the service — we never sell it, to anyone.
Where it lives
On Google Cloud Platform, Africa region (Johannesburg), encrypted in transit and at rest. Daily backups, 24-month retention, then deletion.
Who can access it
The users you authorise on your account, and our support team only at your request. Every access is logged.
WhatsApp alerts
Alerts are sent via the WhatsApp Business API to numbers you designate. You can remove a number at any time.
Your rights
Access, correction, export and deletion of your data on request to legal@gtafrik.com. Response within 30 days, per applicable Congolese law.
The service
GT AFRIK provides a fleet-tracking and genset-monitoring SaaS platform, with hardware installed by our technicians. Service terms are defined in each customer agreement.
Hardware
Hardware (trackers, sensors) is purchased by the client and belongs to them once paid. Installation is warranted for 12 months against fitting defects.
Payment
Monthly billing per active asset. An account unpaid 30 days past due may be suspended; data is retained a further 90 days.
Availability
Platform uptime target: 99.9%. Local GSM network outages are outside our control and do not constitute service unavailability.
Acceptable use
The service is for tracking assets owned or managed by the client, with drivers informed in line with applicable labour law.
Termination
Cancel anytime with 30 days’ notice. On termination your data is exportable for 90 days, then deleted.
Liability
GT AFRIK is a visibility tool, not a security service. Our liability is capped at amounts paid in the previous 12 months.
