Short answer: GT AFRIK GPS tracking subscriptions start from US$25 per month. The price for your fleet depends on the number of vehicles and the options you choose, and it is confirmed in a written quote. There is no long-term contract. GT AFRIK installs with its own technicians in Kinshasa, Lubumbashi (also covering Kolwezi and Likasi) and Brazzaville.
What changes the price
- Number of vehicles. Each tracked vehicle, machine or generator is a unit on the platform.
- Options. A fuel-level sensor, a remote engine cut-off, a dashcam or generator monitoring are added to the tracker where you need them.
- Type of vehicle. Trucks, light vehicles, executive and private cars, motorcycles and heavy plant can all be tracked; the hardware and installation differ.
- Where the vehicles are. Installation is done by GT AFRIK’s own teams in Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Brazzaville.

| Options | Fuel sensor (Escort TD-BLE or Omnicomm), remote engine cut-off, dashcam, generator monitoring. |

Cheap tracker bought online or installed tracker?
GPS trackers are sold on classified sites and marketplaces in Kinshasa, some advertised “without subscription”. Every tracker still needs a SIM card with data to send its position, and a platform to show it. Before comparing prices, compare what you get.
| Plug-in tracker bought online | Installed tracker (GT AFRIK) | |
|---|---|---|
| Installation | Plugged in or stuck on by the owner; easy for a driver to find and unplug | Hidden and hard-wired by a technician, with a tamper alert |
| Fuel theft | Usually not supported | Fuel-level sensor cross-checked with GPS and engine state |
| Engine cut-off | Rarely | Remote immobiliser available |
| No network | Depends on the device | Teltonika trackers store records and send them when the network returns |
| Support | Seller abroad or none | Local teams in Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Brazzaville |
For a single private car, a simple tracker may be enough. For a fleet, the cost of one siphoned tank or one stolen vehicle is usually higher than a year of tracking. The buyer’s checklist lists the questions to ask any provider, and how a GPS tracker works explains what happens with no network.
