Results need context

Case studies built on evidence, not isolated numbers.

A credible outcome needs a defined starting point, an observation period, a calculation method and permission to publish. This page sets the standard GT AFRIK uses before a customer result appears publicly.

Current publication status

GT AFRIK is preparing public case studies under this evidence standard. Until a result is documented and approved, we do not publish names, percentages or deployment totals.

What every case study must contain

Baseline

The operating condition before the change, the data source and any known gaps.

Measurement period

Start and end dates long enough to distinguish a change from ordinary variation.

Calculation

The formula, included assets, excluded events and any adjustment made to the records.

Approval

Written confirmation covering the client name, quotation, metrics and operational detail that may be shown.

Outcome frameworks

AreaEvidence to retainExample calculation
Fleet visibilityAsset list, reporting uptime, event definitions, coverage gaps and support records.Reporting assets ÷ expected reporting assets for the stated period.
Fuel monitoringCalibration tables, refuel records, sensor events, investigations and reconciled consumption.Verified variance compared with the same operational baseline and inclusion rules.
Generator telemetryController data, run hours, alarm history, maintenance logs and power-state records.Confirmed run time or alarm response measured with the declared data source.

Why this matters

A percentage without a denominator, a time window or an operating context can mislead. Fuel use changes with route, load and season. Generator runtime changes with utility availability. Fleet event volume changes with configuration and network coverage. We publish these conditions with the result so readers can judge whether it applies to their operation.

Contribute an approved case study

Existing GT AFRIK customers can ask us to review a deployment for publication. We will agree the question, verify the records, define what can be disclosed and send the final draft for approval.
